The lotus

A wide bowl sits by the garden with a little steam curling up. Its steam is shaped like a question you do not need to answer today.
The big leaf
A broad green leaf sways on a gentle breeze, going exactly as fast as it wants. Nobody has ever caught it rushing.

A round pool of still water rests by the door, with soft rings that travel out and come back a little slower than they left.
